Ssamjang is an important component of Korean BBQ. It is a combination of savoury Doenjang (Fermented Korean Soybean Paste) with Gochujang (Fermented Chilli Paste), mixed with toasted sesame oil and garlic.
Simply spread Ssamjang on lettuces and add grilled meat, seafood or even vegetables.
It is full of flavour and not too spicy as Gochujang.
