Soybean paste is a fermented soybean paste that is widely used in many Korean dishes. 

 

How to use it?

This traditional fermented condiment is great for soup and stews. One of the popular soup dish is 'Doenjang Jjigae'. A word 'Jjigae' basically means soup.

So 'Doenjang Jjigae' means Soybean Paste Soup, which is full of vibrant flavours mixed with ingredients like spring onions, tofu, mushrooms, potatoes etc.
